Although the most important part of your e-cigarette journey is the actual e-cig or personal vaporizer itself, a lot of the accessories really set the path for whether or not you are going to like the device. As you buy vape liquid for the best-smoking e-cigarettes experience. However, I hated most of them because their range of e-liquids wasn’t good enough / big enough / varied enough.

The liquid that you put in your V2 Cigs cartridge or tank is what will give you the throat hit and vapor that mimics that act of smoking. The wrong e-liquid will make for a crappy experience, and as there are so many different flavors and strengths to try, it would seem to find the right one for you is liking trying to find a needle in a haystack.

The good news is that I’ve tried almost all of the V2 Cigs liquids over the years, and I think I’ve come up with which ones might work well for you:

V2 Cigs offers two types of e-liquid – Zig Zag stuff and their own Platinum liquid.

I’ve never tried the Zig Zag ones so I can’t comment on those as yet, but I am planning on having a shot with them very soon. I’ll keep you informed, of course!

Available in both 25ml and 50ml bottles, the Platinum e-liquid bottles have the coolest design, making them the easiest e-liquids to transfer into your tank or cartridges. It sounds ridiculous but there with V2 Cigs, the shape and design of the bottle is half of the appeal

The handy pipet and dropper tip mean that you’ll get less wastage. The dip-top bottles are easy enough to use but some of them can be quite hard to squeeze, especially first thing in the morning when your muscles haven’t quite woken up yet. The pipet bottles that V2 Cigs offer are much more precise. It’s a little thing but I quite liked it.

A 25ml bottle will set you back about $16.95, and a 50ml bottle is $29.95. You can always pay for these with points, of course; points that you earn back for every order you make.

There are five different strength levels available, especially handy if you’re planning on quitting smoking entirely, or at the very least cutting down.

I found that the 2.4% stuff was really strong and perhaps better suited to those that enjoy a really strong cigarette or smoke very heavily. As an ‘average’ smoker, I much preferred the 1.8% stuff and it gave me a more manageable amount of vapor and throat hit.

There are twelve flavors available with the V2 Cigs e-liquid and to be honest, I found that more than enough. I’m more of a generic tobacco-smoker anyway, and the one that I found to be most like smoking an actual cigarette was either V2 Red or Sahara. The Congress tobacco was almost too sweet for my liking and I really didn’t get on with it.

Moving away from the generic three tobacco flavors and you have a whole load more to play around with:

  • Grape – flavor didn’t quite taste right… Can’t quite put my finger on why.
  • Cherry – very nice! Makes a great change away from tobacco and isn’t too much.
  • Coffee – tasted like burnt coffee beans and I didn’t like it. At all!
  • Vanilla – very enjoyable. My favorite vanilla I’ve found so far.

If you’re going with the standard cartridges and two-piece style cartridges, around 20 drops of this will fill it so you’ll be able to get about 25-30 cartridges out of each 25ml bottle. The tanks will use slightly more and in my experience, I’ve found that I refill the V2 Pro Series 3 with just two full pipettes worth. I’d say a 25ml bottle would last you for around two weeks if you use it sparingly. You’ll probably use more than you need to at first, but this is something that you will learn as time goes by and you use your e-cigarettes or personal vaporizers more and more.

Although this e-liquid does sound expensive when you put it up against other brands out there, or even other e-liquid stockist’s, it really is enjoyable to smoke. The flavors aren’t bad although there were one or two that I wasn’t overly impressed with, and I’ve found myself running back to them regardless of where else I buy my liquids from. Surely that says something?

If you want good, authentic flavors, V2 Cigs are the right ones to go for, but if you’re looking for something a bit more experimental, I’d suggest shopping around a bit more. There are other brands that offer much more in the form of variety.
